Best Display

For the cleanest look, enter full-screen mode so the timer fills the entire display. Press F11 on Windows/Linux or Ctrl+Cmd+F on Mac. In full-screen mode the Pause and Cancel controls auto-hide and reappear when you move the mouse.

To also hide the browser toolbar and tabs, use your browser's "Hide Toolbar" option. In Safari, go to View > Always Show Toolbar in Full Screen and uncheck it. In Chrome, the toolbar hides automatically in full-screen mode.

Setting Up a Timer

Enter a duration in minutes:seconds format (e.g. 2:00 for two minutes) or just seconds (e.g. 120). Set the yellow warning threshold to control when the background changes from green to yellow. Press Enter or click Start to begin.

URL Presets

Bookmark a timer configuration by adding query parameters: ?t=120&w=30 sets a 2-minute timer with a 30-second warning. The fields will be pre-filled when the page loads.

Session Presets

Save frequently used timers as presets using the form on the setup screen. Presets are stored in your browser session and will be cleared when you close the tab.
